Cambridge POS Fine Dining systems offer a host of features not found on other Point of Sale systems.

Included in our systems are table statistics, links to table reservation systems, graphical icon layout with information messages to indicate when tables are turning, and a host of other very important features.

Laying out tables is a breeze. Using our Pagemaker like interface allows you to drop, drag, size, and re-size tables and walls to exactly replicate the floor layout of each room in your restaurant. Adding tables quickly is a breeze.

The system allows waiters to select items sold to guests by seat very easily. Our walk thru ordering system makes entering an order truly simple and fast for your wait staff. Multiple kitchen printing capabilities support all the different types of printing methods, including food expediter printing.

Bartending Module:

Cambridge POS offers the fastest bartending system available of any Point of Sale system on the market.

With the bartending module, you can make a bar sale in 3 finger strokes. Additionally, with our unique credit card swiper, you can start a tab using a credit card and the system will automatically grab the client name right off the magnetic stripe of the credit card and place that name right on the tab on the screen.

You can pre-authorize tabs and the system keeps track of date of birth (to verify drinking age). The system also comes with a drink recipe database so your bartenders can quickly lookup any common drink as a refresher. You can even define your own custom drinks into the system.

Pizzeria System with Delivery:

The Cambridge POS pizzeria module is an extremely versatile system made specifically to handle the demands of any pizzeria operation.

With customer lookup by telephone number, and delivery driver input and data including time in/time out information plus special menu functionalities for "building a pizza", the Cambridge POS system is perfect for your pizzeria.

We offer an integrated gift card system which is administered via the internet. For multi unit restaurants, this assures an across the board solution so that any participating customer can utilize their gift card at any of your establishments.

Simply enter the gift card number into the system and enter the value of the card. You can also enter client information via a web interface.

The same web interface provides you with all the reporting tools you require to verify amounts available, send marketing emails and much more. There is even a survey module that allows you to survey your clients on service satisfaction or product satisfaction. Gift cards help increase you overall sales and brings customers back to your business.

House Accounts:

Cambridge POS supports house accounts. This module is included with every Cambridge POS system sold.

The house account module allows you to setup, by client, the ability to define a customer account directly into the system. You can then provide a credit line to that client. Upon entering a tender amount, simply select that account or swipe their house account credit card through your reader.

Assuming the client has the funds, the system will authorize the sale. Then, in the back office, each month, you can print out statements and invoices to send to the account for payment.

Use this feature to lure large companies near your restaurant to your business by offering them a monthly credit line and see your sales soar!

Reservations:

Cambridge POS offers a full featured guest reservation system. With the Cambridge POS reservation system, you can take reservations quickly and easily and keep track of your reservations from our integrated system.

Additionally, you can keep track of guest room and table preferences, smoking or non-smoking areas, etc. The reservations system allows you to sort by those who reserved and those who have walked in. It keeps track of how long each guest has been waiting for their table. And the system allows your hostess to seat the guest directly into the Point of Sale system table service area.

Kitchen Display Systems:

Cambridge POS kitchen display systems offer an alternative or an add on to typical dot matrix kitchen printing systems.

Using bump screen technology, orders are displayed on a heads up display. Kitchen staff then prepare the orders and then "bump" them off the screen. No more paper tickets!
